Mostly dry Election Day, snow returns tonight [Video]

ELECTION DAY: We start off sunny and cold, but cloud cover increases this afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. A few showers will be possible by late afternoon, with snow for the higher elevations. Snow becomes more widespread and heavier tonight.

WEDNESDAY: Snow continues with several inches of accumulation possible, especially along I-25 and the higher terrain. A strong north wind will bring some more dry time for Colorado Springs later in the morning and afternoon, but snow will continue for our southern areas.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: Snow showers linger and look to become more widespread again on Friday, with some rain mixing in here and there. Stay tuned for more updates!
