Pieps, a brand that Black Diamond purchased in 2012 for $10.4 million, has released the Pieps Pro IPS just in time for ice and ski season. It comes in at $728 CAD / $530 USD. While other beacons, such as the Back Country Access Tracker S Beacon costs $350 CAD at MEC, the Pieps Pro IPS has enough new features that we feel it justifies the price tag.
