The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is urging horse owners to take immediate action and vaccinate their horses against eastern equine encephalitis (Triple E) and West Nile Virus. This call to action comes as the North Country has already reported multiple cases of these mosquito-borne illnesses this year.Sen. Chuck Schumer addressed the growing concern during a visit to Plattsburgh on Thursday.
