NFP makes Galway’s HC Financial its latest acquisition [Video]

NFP has taken over Galway-based financial planning and corporate employee benefits advisory business HC Financial, the latest in a string of acquisitions by the Aon-owned insurance broker

HC founder and director Gerry Cuddy will take up a consultant role and report to Colm Power, managing director of benefits and wealth at NFP Ireland.

“Gerry and his team have built a fantastic, highly regarded advisory business with an extremely loyal client base, and we’re excited they will be part of our future growth,” said Power.

“This significant acquisition will help us meet the growing demand for benefits and wealth planning expertise and expand NFP’s physical footprint outside the Dublin market.”

HC has offered investment, pension and savings propositions to clients in the west since 1988, and established itself as one of the largest advisory firms in Ireland.
