BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – High pressure will continue to build into the region overnight. Expect skies to stay clear with some areas of patchy fog. The breezy NNW winds we had will also die down overnight. Lows will stay mostly in the 50s, but some upper 40s will be possible for some far inland communities.

This high will remain overhead for Tuesday & Wednesday bringing a really nice start to the week. Tuesday will have sunny skies with just some high-level clouds by the afternoon. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s with a few 70s possible for far northern parts of the state. By Wednesday, the high will start to slip to our east, as it does so, the winds will begin to pick back up. This time they will be out of the SSW and will gust up to 25 mph.
