Nov 14 weather: Rain and cloudy skies heading into the weekend in southern Ontario [Video]

Break out the umbrellas as we’re in for some rain to start of Thursday with cloudy skies heading into the weekend in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and much of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says to expect rain in the morning hours on Thursday with winds between 30 km/h to 50 km/h in Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton, with less blustery conditions in Hamilton with winds around 20 km/h.

The morning will also see some sunny breaks but Environment Canada is calling for cloudy conditions on Thursday and into Friday, but the rain is expected to dry up by Thursday evening.

Thursday will see highs of around 8 C during the day and lows of 5 C over night.

Looking ahead to the weekend, sunny skies are expected to return with a daytime high of 11 C in Mississauga on Saturday and Sunday.
