Online tool allows residents and business owners to self-report flood damage [Video]

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut residents and business owners can self-report property damage following catastrophic flooding.

The online tool maintained by the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management & Homeland Security helps officials evaluate potential funding opportunities.

“By submitting this form, officials will be able to utilize this information to develop an accurate damage assessment to measure how this flooding event impacted the town,” the office of Southbury’s first selectman said. “This assessment will allow the local, State, and Federal officials to evaluate potential funding opportunities.”
