SPRINGFIELD Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Another snowfall for western Massachusetts is in the books, but it was not enough for a full disruption in people’s routines. Bright and early, folks started off their Monday with some snow, but with only about an inch of snow projected, residents continued with their morning commutes. “Thank God for remote start because that gives it a little bit easier. Peyton has a two-hour delay, so dropping her off with her mom who worked an overnight and then just go to work,” said Keri Riley of Chicopee.
Some schools in the area resorted with a two-hour delay, but the plows were out to help clear the roads for those with a later start to the day. “Chicopee did a really good job cleaning the roads this time,” said Jonathan Encarnacion of Chicopee.
