A Facebook post on the marina’s page states that an unauthorized user gained access to its social media and that the facilities are no longer under new ownership.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Ownership details appear to be under dispute at the Bluff’s Landing Marina after an alleged Facebook hack that marina customers were informed of on Friday.
The business’ Facebook page posted a message around noon saying that the business had not been sold, despite reports of a new owner.
The new buyer reportedly failed to fulfill a contractual agreement and took “unauthorized actions with the facility” without the original owner’s knowledge, the post states.
“On or around December 23rd, an unauthorized user gained access to our Facebook account and posted misleading information. We want to clarify: Bluff’s Landing Marina and its related facilities have NOT been sold,” it reads.
