Partly sunny Saturday with plenty of wildfire smoke still [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The weekend starts off this morning with mostly cloudy skies, plenty of fog, and lots of wildfire smoke. As the day progresses, skies will start to break, with partly sunny skies expected this afternoon. High temperatures top off anywhere from the upper 60s along the coast to lower 80s in Northern Maine. Dewpoints in the low 60s. The high amounts of wildfire smoke and haze will affect sensitive groups today. It is best to avoid both strenuous activity and spending lots of time outdoors. Small Craft and High Surf advisories are in effect for coastal areas starting this afternoon and continuing through Monday as Hurricane Ernesto disrupts calmer waters.

Clouds blanket Maine tonight, with low temperatures throughout the upper 50s and lower 60s. Another foggy morning is expected tomorrow.
