Portions of 3 Lincoln streets to close starting Friday, LTU says [Video]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Transportation and Utilities announced that portions of three streets will begin to close temporarily starting Friday.

56th Street between Colby Street and Leighton Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday for crane work. LTU recommends to detour to Holdrege Street to 48th Street to Adams Street instead.
P Street between seventh and ninth streets and Eighth Street between Q and O streets will be close Friday until Saturday at 11 p.m. for Oktoberfest.

LTU encourages residents to be cautious and seek an alternate route during these closures.
