REDDING, Calif. – With the holidays behind us, the season of giving has quickly shifted to the season of returning. As online shopping grows, so does the line at return counters — and Redding’s newest UPS store is no exception.
UPS store owner Ben Bradshaw says business is picking up as customers return Christmas gifts that didn’t quite hit the mark. “Amazon has extended returns into February, so people are starting to think about returns during that time,” Bradshaw explained.
Bradshaw and his wife opened the Churn Creek Road location just five weeks ago, and the store is already buzzing with activity. With nine staff members on board, five work each shift to handle the post-holiday rush.
