Progressive Insurance gifts new vehicle to local veteran [Video]

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – An Appleton military veteran and his family are celebrating receiving a new car.

It’s all part of Progressive Insurance’s 12th annual Keys to Progress vehicle giveaway.

The program aims to provide reliable transportation for veterans, military-related organizations, and veteran-owned small business owners across the country.

Justin Catlin says the giveaway comes at a perfect time after a breakdown on the highway left his family without a car.

So many veterans need help and for somebody to want to do something as nice as this as a large gift and to help uplift the veteran community and the overall community because they’re not just veterans but a part of the community as well,” said Catlin.

Nearly 100 veterans and military-related organizations across the country will receive keys to a new vehicle as part of this program.
