Las Vegas Raiders starting quarterback Aidan O’Connell has exited the game due to a hand injury.
Gardner Minshew has replaced O’Connell under center.
O’Connell left the game after completing 6-of-10 passes for 52 yards.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, O’Connell is believed to have suffered a broken thumb based on preliminary tests.
Rapoport went on to say that he would have a further evaluation on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. This is unfortunate news for the Raiders, who were high on O’Connell from last season when he came in as a rookie.
