Rain returns to wrap up the weekend | News [Video]

Our next weather maker will spread widespread rain across the area starting later this afternoon. Showers will linger early in the week until a cold front dries us out and cools us down again by midweek.

Clouds will continue to thicken today with rain moving later this afternoon. Temperatures will warm into the mid 50s for highs.

Tonight looks soggy with a few rumbles of thunder. Some heavier downpours are possible, but no severe weather is expected. Temperatures will rise overnight going from the upper 40s this evening to near 60 by morning.

The steady rain will break up early in the day Monday with just some scattered showers hanging around. Temperatures will stay mild in the low 60s.

Additional showers are likely Tuesday just ahead of our next cold front. We’ll warm into the upper 60s for highs.
