RBGA Awards Freer Auto Body July Small Business of the Month [Video]

The River Bend Growth Association selects a small business to honor each month.  Winners are selected based on a scoring system that awards points for number of years in business, number of employees, overcoming adversity and community service. 2016 marks the 25th year in business for Freer Auto Body which currently has 20 employees and is looking to hire more.  In September 2008 the family business was staggered when one of the founding members David Freer, was killed in an automobile accident.  Over the years Freer Auto Body has given back to the community in the form of special events and fundraising, most notably Christmas in July and their participation in the United Way’s Community Christmas program.
