RegTech start-up Customs Window closes 800k seed round to scale in UK [Video]

Customs Window Technologies has closed an €800,000 seed funding round led by private and EIIS investors with the support of Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) funding.

The RegTech start-up, which has developed a system to address the complexity and volume of customs declarations and associated compliance requirements, will use the funds to scale into the UK market.

More than 91m customs declarations were submitted to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in 2023, and regulatory changes planned in the UK next year are likely to increase the total.

Customs Window was founded in 2022 by Brian Murphy and Johnny Dunne and is headquartered at NexusUCD.

Mike Stalley, founder and CEO of Fiscal Reps, a tax compliance software firm that he sold in 2017 to Sovos, is among the private investors and will advise the company on its UK and international strategic growth plans.
