Residents looking to local leaders for a starting point to get a noise ordinance [Video]

ATHENS, Ala. — The process to get a noise ordinance in place in Limestone County has hit a snag for residents – as officials say, there isn’t much to be done on a local level. “When I spoke to them on December 6th, they told me that historically this has always been done at a higher government level, and I don’t know that I understand that process coming from them,” resident Kellie Dye says. “I really feel that this is something that would normally start at a local level and go up from there, but it does need to start local.”
