River City Bagels has been a staple of the Sacramento community for years.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — River City Bagels is a Sacramento-based bakery specializing in creating round, doughy goodness — or bagels.
ABC10’s Mark S. Allen decided to spend National Bagel Day at the place he says has “the best bagel in Sacramento.”
THINGS TO KNOW:
- The owners of River City Bagels are Sacramento couple Akrun “Henry” Muong and Sakchea Muong. According to Henry, the two founded their business off their love for the bread.
“When I came to the United States and worked for my wife’s family for a couple of years at the bagel shop in Santa Rosa, it made me love the bagel,” said Henry. “We make the bagel, we eat the bagel.”
The two currently make more than 200 bagels a day together.
