TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology received a multi-million dollar gift to enhance its STEM education.
The donation is from alumnus Pete Fowler and his wife, Joane.
Rose-Hulman named its newest academic building the Fowler Academic Building in honor of the couple. The name was unveiled during homecoming while Pete Fowler celebrated 55 years since graduating from the Electrical Engineering program.
Fowler made a career in sales and marketing for semiconductor startups. He is also listed as a co-inventor on nine patents.
