TULSA, Okla. — The Route 66 Christmas Tree Farm opened on Saturday featuring a walk-through area filled with upcycled Christmas trees.
“I was just going to do an art installation—a small art installation—outside of our previous business,” explained Amanda Stout, the owner and creator of Route 66 Christmas Tree Farm. “We made a call to the public: donate your unwanted artificial Christmas trees because we’re going to upcycle them and do something grand with them. I didn’t know that the community was going to step up and it was going to be close to 500 Christmas trees donated so I thought, ‘okay, this has got to be something bigger and better.'”
The Route 66 Christmas Tree Farm is a free attraction where guests can walk through corridors of decorated Christmas trees and enjoy the holiday spirit.
