On Monday’s episode of Loose Women, panellist Ruth Langsford spoke openly about her views on getting older.
During the programme, the 64-year-old discussed a study that found ageing could speed up in middle age, with bodies changing dramatically at certain ages rather than declining slowly.
This led Ruth to ask if people were concerned about rapid ageing after reading the article. She admitted: “It really resonated with me because definitely when I hit 60, it seemed to have happened very quickly.”
She continued: “You kou know me, I don’t really worry too much about age. But at 60 to now and I’m now 64, I feel like everything has kind of drooped and sagged. It’s a bit, you know, a funny neck.”
As the audience laughed at Ruth’s honesty, she joked that they were supposed to disagree with her.
