The CHP says Vincent Andrade-Moreno was identified as the suspect in the shooting, which injured one person
The California Highway Patrol said Vincent Andrade-Moreno, 38, was identified as the suspect in the shooting and was arrested at his Roseville residence Friday. He was taken into custody with the help of a SWAT team and officers from the Roseville and Rocklin police departments.
The CHP said it received reports of a shooting near the American River Bridge on the northbound lanes of the freeway at 3 p.m. Lanes near Exposition Boulevard were closed for over an hour due to the shooting investigation.
The shooting resulted in non-life threatening injuries to one person, who has been released from the hospital.
Andrade-Moreno was booked at the Placer County Jail on multiple charges, including attempted murder, shooting at an occupied vehicle, and being in possession of a firearm as a felon.
