GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that it is delaying the deadline for its low-interest physical disaster loans, giving Helene victims more time to apply.
The new deadline for businesses and residents who suffered damages from the storm to apply for loans is Jan. 7, 2025.
SBA also announced that a Portable Loan Outreach Center (PLOC) has opened in Greenwood County at the Greenwood County Chamber of Commerce. This facility will allow disaster survivors to meet with customer service representatives about a loan. It opens from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be in operation until Nov. 22 at noon.
