Schneider achieves 6 million zero-emission miles with e-fleet [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – A local company continues to set the pace in its industry.

Schneider Trucking announced last week that their 18-month-old electric fleet of e-Cascadias has now achieved 6 million zero-emission miles, the first major carrier to hit that mark, which equates to removing about 21,000 gas-powered passenger vehicles from the roads for a year.

The fleet operates in southern California, but can it provide a road map to more widespread use in the transportation industry?
