University of Florida starting quarterback DJ Lagway was carted off the field after suffering an apparent injury against Georgia. Backup quarterback Aidan Warner has entered the game for him.
Lagway kept the ball on a first down and ran to the left side of the field. He grabbed the area around his hamstring and immediately fell to the turf. Trainers entered the field to come to his aid.
It was determined that the Florida signal-caller needed to have help off the field. Two members of the staff helped him get onto a cart before he left for the locker room.
Before leaving the game, Lagway had gone 2-for-6 throwing the ball, with one touchdown pass. He helped the Gators jump out to a 10-3 lead over the Bulldogs.
Both Florida and Georgia were able to add a field goal before halftime, with the Gators up 13-6 at the halfway point.
