Seibert Road closure notice in Newberry County [Video]

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) wants motorists to know that the department will close Seibert Road in Newberry County to local traffic only beginning Monday, Sept. 9.

The road connects Bethel Church Road and Macedonia Church Road near Prosperity, on the north side of Lake Murray.

SCDOT will replace a crossline drainage pipe and expects the work to be completed by the end of the week. 

Motorists should plan an alternative route, use caution, and slow down when driving near work crews.
