Shoppers at Westfarms Mall early for Black Friday deals [Video]

FARMINGTON, Conn — Christmas is less than four weeks away and shoppers were at the Westfarms Mall getting a head start buying presents for themselves or family members.

Some shoppers got here early to shop. 

“I’ve been here since 5 a.m. to get a good parking space and shop till I drop and then go home,” one shopper said. 

She urges others to do the same and know what they want before going into the store.

“Go to the big department stores, which is Macy’s or Nordstrom’s, but Nordstrom’s opens at nine, Macy opens at six, and that makes it so much more convenient for you,” she said. 

She already bought some items from Macy’s and has plans to buy more

“A lot of men’s clothes and men’s cologne, and I have to shop for a watch. I’m going to hit up Kate Spade, they know me, and then I’m going to go to Macy’s, the men’s shop,” She …
