With long term street closures in the heart of downtown Tyler soon to be in pace, some small businesses are sharing that they think it will be good in the long run.
TYLER, Texas — Starting next Monday, streets that surround the Smith County Courthouse will be closed ahead of construction. Some business in downtown are worried about how it might affect them, while Moocho Burrito has a positive outlook
“I know that some of the streets are going to close and maybe affect some businesses, but this is for a good reason,” said employee Victor Covarrubias
Victor Corvarrubias has worked at this family-owned business for 10 years now, and he said that business has only gotten better in downtown Tyler.
“In our experience, we’ve enjoyed more people coming and making more and more business,” Covarrubias said.
