MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) – Starting Friday, a popular exhibit will open to mark its 50th year at the Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc.
The exhibit is called the Art of Tablesettings.
This week in Small Towns, we visit the lakeshore to learn more about this one-of-a-kind exhibit.
It’s the final day of set-up inside the Rahr-West Art Museum and Peggy Lemerond. has her table all set and ready to go.
“She painted the Art of Tablesetting with the number 50, she’s my artist friend,” says Peggy pointing to a china cup.
Growing up in Manitowoc, Peggy visited the museum often.
After moving to De Pere, she returned in 2015 and was fascinated by the museum’s annual October exhibit, the Art of Tablesetting.
