Snow Creek announces first day of 2024-2025 snowsport season [Video]

WESTON, Mo. (KCTV) – Skiiers, snowboarders and tubers, rejoice! Snow Creek Mountain Resort’s opening day is less than a day away.

On Sunday, Snow Creek posted online that its first day of the season will be Monday, Dec. 23 at 3 p.m.

Given the Midwest’s unpredictable weather, the business said there is a chance that operations will have to pause if temperatures warm. Until then, rentals are fully available, as are three of the park’s shorter lifts.

The Easy Rider, Long Rider and Tiger Lifts service the section of the resorted slated for beginners, in addition to a small portion that is “more difficult.”

The Show Me and Jayhawk lifts, leading to the “more” and “most” difficult sections, are not yet open.
