Snow Ending, Sun Returns for Sunday [Video]

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – We woke up this morning to some light snow showers thanks to a cold front moving through.

We have a strong area of low pressure passing to the south, that same low that brought much of the south some snow and ice. That low passes out to see.

Snow showers this morning will be light in nature, and last through the morning, coming to an end by around noontime. The hills will see around 1-2″ of snow and the valley will likely see a coating to 1″.

Once snow showers end this afternoon, we’ll be left with cloudy skies and highs in the lower 30’s.

Tonight, clouds will diminish, and lows drop into the 20’s.

Sunday, mostly sunny skies as high pressure builds in with highs in the upper 30’s, and a light breeze. This continues into Monday as well.
