Awakn’s lead program targeting severe alcohol use disorder has entered Phase 3 trials with UK government funding, an achievement Tennyson described as “unheard of for a Phase 3 trial in this indication.” The program showed a 50% reduction in heavy drinking days and a remarkable 86% abstinence rate over six months post-treatment.
