Local Rutherford EMC crews, alongside reinforcements from peer electric cooperatives both in-state and out-of-state, have worked tirelessly in their restoration efforts. As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, approximately 27,000 outages remain across the cooperative’s service territory.Crumbled, washed-out roads and landslides continue to pose unprecedented challenges for line crews in being able to access damage.
