BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Happy Sunday! We continue to watch an upper-level low that’s spinning away to our north. It is producing a mostly cloudy sky for areas along and north of I-20. If you live south of I-20, you have been enjoying a sunny start to the day. We will likely see clouds continue to push in from the northwest providing Central Alabama with a mix of sunshine and cloud cover. A few showers will be possible this afternoon and evening. Showers will likely develop to our northwest and move towards the east-southeast. The areas that have the best chance to see a few showers today will likely occur along and north of I-20/59. Temperatures today are forecast to remain below average with most of us in the upper 70s. Lower 80s will be possible south of I-20 if you see a little bit of sunshine this afternoon.
