Sprintex Ltd (ASX:SIX) managing director Jay Upton joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the results from a trial of its G15 Blowers.
The blowers achieved a 70% reduction in energy consumption during a trial at Ilknak Aquaculture in Türkiye, leading to a A$184,000 order from its Turkish distributor, Net 0 Enerji.
The trial demonstrated that the G15 Blowers offer substantial energy efficiency and cost savings compared to traditional side channel blowers, using just 3.57–3.63 kWh compared to 13.18–13.47 kWh.
The G15 Blowers matched the air output of nearly three side channel blowers while using only one unit, lowering operational costs and supporting sustainable aquaculture practices.
This aligns with Ilknak’s goals of reducing environmental impact and adopting greener operations.
Sprintex’s partnership with Net 0 Enerji underscores its expanding market presence in Türkiye’s industrial sectors.
The company is also conducting trials in agriculture and feed processing, including a pilot at the Abaloğlu Yem Grain Facility, to demonstrate the adaptability of its technology.
Upton highlighted the transformative potential of the G15 Blowers and Sprintex’s commitment to global energy-efficient solutions.
The trial’s success sets the stage for broader adoption in Türkiye’s aquaculture industry and other industrial applications.
