Structure fire closes businesses in Medford, including well known breakfast spot | Top Stories [Video]

UPDATE, 6:15 a.m. : Buttercloud Bakery & Cafe will be closed for the foreseeable future. The fire in downtown Medford was next door to the well known breakfast spot.

Power is back on in downtown Medford and 10th street and Riverside are back open. 

UPDATE, 6:30 p.m. : “Crews have made significant progress in their efforts to contain the three-alarm structure fire in the 300 block of Front Street. The fire is now fully contained to the original building, with only hot spots remaining.” Firefighters continue to work on overhaul operations to ensure the fire is completely extinguished. While much of the fire damage was contained to the Medford Mattress warehouse, substantial exposure damage was reported at Buttercloud Bakery.
