Talladega area officers looking for thieves burglarizing restaurants [Video]

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – Talladega area officers are looking for thieves who broke into at least two restaurants.

Manager Tammy Liner of Custom Pizza in Talladega says they had a break in back in July and this is the second time her store has been burglarized.

Around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning, Liner got an alert on the ringcam at Custom Pizza showing two people running into the restaurant after breaking the window. Video shows the thieves moving throughout the building and eventually taking one of the cash registers with three people leaving in a silver 4-door Mazda vehicle.

Later that morning in Lincoln, the Hwy 77 Fish Market restaurant was burglarized around 4:45 a.m. Liner says with reports of other restaurants burglarized recently, she’s starting to wonder if all of this is connected.
