The number of companies inquiring more about A.I. is growing.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The emerging artificial intelligence technology also known as A.I. now has some companies seeking consulting advice.
3NEWS reached out to a digital consulting company in their work with everything from startup companies to the fortune of 500 businesses who are all trying to integrate A.I.
They said that being intelligent doesn’t mean that there’s no room for unintentional bias.
Allata CEO Matt Rosen said, “there’s algorithm bias, which is the designs that algorithms can incorporate biases. Things like race and gender could lead to discriminatory outcomes. there’s human bias. Ultimately A.I. is fed and built by humans. so they can embed their own prejudices into A.I sometimes unintentionally.”
Rosen said that the number of companies inquiring more about the use of A.I. is growing.
