Temperatures to start climbing again heading into next week [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – After an overall warm October, November is off to a cooler start, but 70s will make another appearance as temperatures climb through Election Day.

October ended on the warm side, with the average high temperature almost 4 degrees above the normal average. Now heading into a new month, November has a higher chance to be warmer than normal, according to new outlooks published by the Climate Prediction Center.

Precipitation has equal chances of being wetter or drier than normal.

Over the next few days, temperatures will warm up into the mid-upper 70s, when average temperatures this time of year in the low 60s.

Election day will be the warmest of the week, with temperatures reaching up into the upper 70s, possibly reaching 80.
