The new Volkswagen Tiguan looks good [Video]

This is the best Volkswagen Tiguan I’ve ever driven, and I say that for a number of reasons. Now, first off, bear in mind that it’s the R-line version, so not all of the features I’ll tell you about are present on every trim level, but I want to start with the sports comfort seats for driver and front passenger.

The folks in VW are not joking when they use the word ‘comfort’ there, because I’ve paid good money for chairs in my house that aren’t as cosy as these. You kind of sink into them like you would a favourite old armchair that over the years has moulded itself into the shape of your body and yours alone.

The tactile, almost nurturing, reward is so good, you wish you didn’t have to drive anywhere at all, just tilt your head back and have a good snooze. The fact the seats are covered in an …
