PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Representatives from the Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of the Mid-Ohio Valley share some insight on how you can become financially successful going into 2025.
Shelene Shrewsbury, the executive director of CCCS, says the biggest thing to start is to track the income you receive and by budgeting.
“Our biggest thing is to start with a budget,” Shrewsbury said. “You need to track the income you have coming in, as well as all the expenses you’re spending out, We really recommend getting an app for your phone. It will attach to your bank account, and it will really watch what you’re spending in the various categories of your budget.
