RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – With the holiday season coming to a close, it’s time to start thinking about what to do with your Christmas tree. That’s where Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful steps in!

The annual KTMB Christmas Tree Recycling program is back, and ready to give your old Christmas trees a new life.

Don’t feel like dropping off your trees or won’t have time? Have no fear, KTMB has also partnered with the Boy Scouts—Nevada Area Council for a Christmas Tree curbside pickup on December 28th, 29th, and January 4th.

What: KTMB’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program for area residents.

When: Every day from December 26, 2024 – January 6, 2025. Drop-off sites are open 9 am – 4:30 pm

Where: Drop-off locations include:

  • Bartley Ranch Regional Park: 6000 Bartley Ranch Rd, Reno
  • Reno Sports Complex: 2975 N. Virginia Street, Reno
  • Shadow Mt. Sports Complex: 3300 Sparks Blvd, Sparks
  • Truckee Meadows Fire Station – Spanish Springs: 500 Rockwell Blvd (drop-off location)
