Titans Officially Place CB on Injured Reserve Due to Groin Injury [Video]

The Tennessee Titans have placed their starting safety, Chidobe Awuzie, on the injured reserve.

Titans head coach Brian Callahan said earlier this week that Awuzie would be a candidate for the injured reserve, and that ended up being the case on Friday.

Awuzie will miss the team’s next four games but will be eligible to return to action after their Week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots. The Titans have an early bye week this season, having a Week 5 bye.

Teenesee’s next four games are with the Miami Dolphins this Monday night, the Indianapolis Colts, the Buffalo Bills, and the Detroit Lions.
