Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week: Hendricks senior stays busy in activities [Video]

HENDRICKS, M.N. (Dakota News Now) – Our Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Week is a standout senior at a small school in southwest Minnesota. This week, we meet Ayla Texley.

Ayla is enjoying her senior year at Hendricks Public School. It’s the place she grew up in.

“I’ve been here my whole life, since I was in preschool, and live super close, just right across the street, so it’s been nice to have my whole high school experience be in one place. Just to be a role model to all the younger kids because there’s not very many high schoolers here, so it’s important to be a good one when you are here,” said Ayla.

Ayla is a leader with a 3.9 GPA. She’s also very involved.
