TODAY…

After rain exits to the east, so will the clouds with clearing developing west. A few PM clouds and perhaps a brief shower, otherwise dry. At or slightly above seasonal norms.

NEXT WEEK…

A cold front looks to pass through the state this morning and bring some much needed rainfall, especially south to our state. Our sky becomes partly to mostly sunny midday. A few clouds and a passing shower can’t be ruled out this afternoon, otherwise dry.

After the front, more notable will be the downturn in temperature as the coolest air of the season (thus far) arrives. Highs today will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s; then tomorrow into Wednesday and Thursday, only between 60 and 65! On Thursday our high temperature in the Hartford area could struggle to get out of the 50s!
