TULSA, Okla. — Volunteers at Greater Good Charities in Tulsa are busy making emergency packs full of blankets socks water and more for the fire victims in LA.
Bryna Donnelly with Greater Good Charities said they have 25 volunteers, three days a week, stuffing hundreds of packs full of supplies.
“When you see fires hitting an area, you can’t help but imagine it’s your own house. When you think about losing everything you own, it rips your heart out,” Donelly said.
They’re sending about 40,000 pounds of supplies to California. Donelly hopes their work makes a difference.
Mindi White has volunteered with Greater Good Charities for about a year. When she learned about the fires, she was devastated and needed to find a way to help.
