United Way’s Get the Pack Back | On TV [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The United Way of the Black Hills Thursday is hosting its annual Get the Pack Back event. Each year businesses and organizations bring in their pledges, in the midst of the 2025 giving campaign, to help boost momentum toward the United Way’s fundraising goal. And all money raised locally stays local.

Executive Director of United Way of the Black Hills John Cass says, “We’re funding 32 agencies, almost 40 programs. So it’s a wide range shelters for people, abuse situations, neglect, and housing. I mean, when you think of what the needs are in our community, United Way’s had the opportunity to actually help support a lot of these agencies that are doing that work.”
