NEW YORK — A man in Altoona, Pennsylvania, is being held for questioning in connection with the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
A man in Pennsylvania is being held for questioning in connection with the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
The sources say the man being questioned was traveling through Altoona on a Greyhound bus. He was spotted at the McDonald’s at 407 East Plank Road at 9:15 a.m. on Monday by a witness who recognized the man from the images police have been circulating.
That’s when police were called.
After he was picked up at the McDonald’s, he was taken to a local police precinct for questioning. That’s where local police found a similar gun to the one used in the assassination-style killing, a computer, and fake IDs.
