When the doors to the Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln open on Friday morning, Lynn Fleming wants the place to be unrecognizable.
Instead of a vast, industrial space, Fleming wants shoppers at this year’s Vintage Market Days to walk into an upbeat atmosphere that’s decked out with dozens of local small businesses selling everything from homemade soap to vintage clothing.
“It’s so much fun to see how we transform this very sterile building into something completely different,” she said.
